A California art print on Arches watercolor paper. 100% archival, and printed in HD.
Painted on site at the Bonny Hill Plantation in Georgia during one of the artist's trips back east. While Patrick was painting, he was approached by a son of a former slave who had lived on the plantation. He was in his 90's but still sharp as a tack. He told Jim that the church was built by the original plantation owner, and that as far back as he could recollect it always "leaned" that way.
Exhibited at the Jake Zeitlin Galleries, one-man show in December 1940.
