"Dad originally called this `Winter Scene'. It's the old farm house across the street on Roseville Road in Westport, CT, and was reproduced in Watercolor Methods, a book edited by Norman Kent in 1955 and published by Watson Guptill. The black cat I owned as a child had the unimaginative name of Blackie! The apple tree died years ago, but otherwise the scene looks the same today. Painting was in a 1989 retrospective exhibit at the Bergen Museum of Art & Science."
