Aero Morning, 1986, an original watercolor painting by Carolyn Lord. This painting is available as a giclée art print on premium watercolor paper.
This is a studio painting, based on a plein air watercolor done while visiting the island of Aero in Denmark in 1985. Through an introduction by long-time family friends in California, we stayed with their Danish relatives for a week at their “Vester Molleggard”, with traditional, half-timbered thatched farm buildings, bio-dynamic gardens, and nearby windmills on hills overlooking the Baltic Sea. The scene in “Aero Morning” was painted near this farm. - Carolyn Lord
