"My parents used to make day trips out of New York City on weekends, and this watercolor was done in Connecticut in the late 30s. I love the enticing feel of the scene, and I want to run up and look at the antiques to see what they have. This watercolor was shown in a retrospective exhibit of Dad's work in 1989 at the Stary-Sheets Art Gallery in Gualala, California and at the Bergen Museum of Art & Science."
