The refreshing color of this simple home provides a perfect compositional balance for the colors and patterns of the geraniums, palms, and cactus The welcoming front porch provides shade during the long, rainless summer of this valley town.  The house is on South Livermore Avenue, between 7th and 8th Streets. Needless to say, I was saddened when the front of the house was painted out white; curiously, the side of the house remains aqua. - Carolyn Lord
