Crandall Norton Biography
In the 1950s he was exhibiting watercolors on a national level. From the beginning, he produced classic California Style watercolors with bold composition and clean transparent colors. His natural flair for handling large wet-into-wet washes also brought him much attention. Norton has received many awards for his watercolors and in 1968, presented a one-man show that toured 19 states. In addition, he has taught at the Laguna Beach School of Art, was Assistant Director for Gallery One-Eight-Five in Pasadena and produced a number of architectural renderings
