Stanley Wood (1894-1949) Watercolorist, lithographer. Born on Sept. 12, 1894 in Bordentown, NJ. Wood was educated at the Drexel Institute where he studied engineering and architecture. After moving to California in 1920, he lived in Carmel and San Francisco until WWII. His illustrations often were in Fortune magazine. Wood died in Los Angeles on July 28, 1949.
