Marjorie E. Ransom Cummins (1895-1978) Marjorie E. Ransom Cummins was born in Los Angeles, California on March 10, 1985. She was a painter, sculptor, and teacher. By 1913 Cummins was an active artist in the Los Angeles area. During her career she was also active in the Yucaipa, Redlands, and Victorville areas of Southern California.

Cummins' married names were Kinnard and Cummins (she was married to Al Cummins). She specialized in landscapes, seascapes, still life works (with emphasis on florals), and historical genre. She was an active artist, and exhibited widely, in Southern California for over 60 years. She died in Yucaipa, California on July 13, 1978.
