Harper Goff (1911-1993) Born on March 16, 1911, in Fort Collins, Colorado. He first met Walt Disney in 1951 at the Bassett-Lowke Ltd. Train Shop in London, England. A brief discussion with Walt Disney led Harper back to Los Angeles working for the Walt Disney Company.

Harper's accomplishments while working with Disney include creating the storyboards for "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and the design of Captain Nemo's Nautilus submarine. He also did conceptual work on Main Street U.S.A, the Jungle Cruise and various projects throughout Disneyland. Harper's talent was also put to task at EPCOT Center and the World Showcase. A tinkerer of model trains, he was also a member of the Firehouse Five Plus Two band.

Harper Goff died on March 3, 1993.

He was posthumously named a Disney Legend in 1993.
