An original watercolor by Hardie Gramatky titled Holiday, (Westport), 1976. This painting is also available as a fine art print on Arches watercolor paper. 100% archival, and printed in HD.
"The Westport beach on Long Island Sound was an inspirational place for Dad to paint. This spot is down near the cannons - yes, from the American Revolution -- with wonderful vivid green marsh grass and rocks that everyone likes to climb on. The watercolor was chosen for the 1976 American Watercolor Society exhibit and their 109th Traveling Show as well as the National Academy Ranger Fund exhibit and the Connecticut Watercolor Society's show, both in 1978, and the Westport Arts Center in 1991."
