"Dad used this title on the back although originally he called this `Marsh Grass'. He writes in his notes that this is `off Compo Rocks. Use glycerine' [French spelling of glycerin]. so that must be how he achieved the wonderful effect of some wet marsh grass and sharp details on the fisherman and horizon. This is one of my favorite paintings of Dad's. People want to buy the original but I have it hanging in our home. It was shown at the Westport Arts Center one-man exhibit in 1991."
