Boats, Old Lyme, (Westport), 1976, an original watercolor painting by Hardie Gramatky. This painting is available as a giclée art print on premium watercolor paper.
"Dad would love to visit my husband and me and our two kids (his grandchildren) up at the cottage on the water in Old Lyme, Connecticut, that we've rented since 1974. Just sitting on the beach and feeling the warmth and cool breezes would inspire anyone, but being able to sit in the shade of our porch and paint the rowboats, sailboats and catamarans scattered on the beach was a joy to him. The painting was reproduced in 1995 for the McCleery-Cummings calendar company in Iowa."
