Rapt Attention, 1936, an original watercolor painting by Dorothea Cooke Gramatky. This painting is available as a fine art giclée print on premium watercolor paper.
"I believe this painting was done for the portfolio of Dorothea Cooke in late 1936. The six women are all dressed so differently but all in mid-30s garb and the expressions on each of them are so varied and unique. The one woman certainly has captured the attention of all the others! My mother was very good at capturing expressions, and I believe she got that from strong art training at Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles."
