About Roscoe Carver
| Roscoe Carver (1896–1982) Studied: University of Washington (Seattle), California School of Fine Arts (San Francisco); Member: Santa Barbara Art Association. Roscoe Carver was raised in Washington State. After graduating from college, he moved to Northern California and studied art with Rudolph Schaeffer in San Francisco and Armin Hansen in Monterey. From the 1930s to the 1950s, he produced fine art watercolor paintings done in a representational style and worked as an art director at the McCann-Erickson Advertising Agency in San Francisco.
