About Raymond Cuevas

Raymond Cuevas was born and raised in Los Angeles. After earning a scholarship from the Chouinard Art Institute, he was given the privilege of studying with Chouinard instructors Ed Reep, Harold Kramer, Rex Brandt and Elmer Plummer. After graduating from Chouinard, Cuevas studied painting and drawing with Arnold Mesches and Bentley Schaad at Otis Art Institute. During this time, he also worked as a commercial artist and award-winning graphic and advertising designer for more than twenty-five years.
