About Hugh Duncan

Hugh Duncan (1924-2001) Born: Glendale, CA; Studied: School of Allied Arts (Glendale), Art Center School (Los Angeles), Chouinard Art Institute (Los Angeles); Member: Watercolor West. Hugh Duncan grew up in Southern California and studied watercolor painting with Charles Payzant, Ralph Hulett, Arthur Beaumont and Rex Brandt. After World War II, he began exhibiting his fine art watercolors and working as a commercial illustrator in the Los Angeles area.
