About Henry Doane

Henry Doane (1905-2002) Born: Cambridge, MA; Studied: California College of Arts and Crafts (Oakland), Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design (San Francisco); Member: Society of Western Artists, San Francisco Art Association. Henry Doane began exhibiting his watercolor paintings in the 1940s. He also worked as a commercial display artist in San Francisco for many years, served as the president of the Society of Western Artists and taught watercolor painting.   (Read More)
