"This house is still a beautiful antique home in Westport, Connecticut, at 18 Bridge Street. The door is no longer red, but it's been lovingly preserved by many families and now has Historic District designation. My father loved it 45 years ago."

Hardie Gramatky was raised in Southern California. He studied art with F. Tolles Chamberlin, Clarence Hinkle, Pruett Carter and Barse Miller.
