More About This Painting
"Painted in February 1974, it was exhibited at the Post Arts Center in Guilford, CT. A few years ago, after we moved back to my childhood home in Westport, neighborhood children were sledding down our hill at my invitation. I stepped out on the deck to snap a photo, and was amazed when I got a print how it was almost an identical scene to what Dad painted 25 years previously. The more things change, the more they stay the same."
