More About This Painting
"This small watercolor was a miniature done for a later painting, `Rocks at Compo’. It shows sunset at Compo Beach with families fishing out on the rocks and Owenoke Park in the background. This painting is owned by our son who followed in his grandfather’s footsteps as an art major at Bates College and combined his dad’s computer ability and his grandpa’s art when he and a business partner started a website design company, Tenrec. He now works for Transpera. He was intrigued by watching his grandpa paint in the Westport studio."
