About George Gibson

George Gibson, N.A. (1904-2001) Born: Edinburgh, Scotland; Studied: Edinburgh College of Art, Glasgow School of Art, Chouinard Art Institute (Los Angeles); Member: National Academy of Design, American Watercolor Society, California Water Color Society. George Gibson grew up in Northern Scotland. In 1930, he imigrated from scotland to the United States and settled in Los Angeles where he continued his art education with F. Tolles Chamberlin.
