About Bud Shackelford

Lyne T. "Bud " Shackleford (1918 - 2005) Born: Washington, D.C.; Studied: Chouinard Art Institute (Los Angeles), Art Students League (New York); Member: American Watercolor Society, California Water Color Society. Bud Shackelford attended the University of Alabama in the early 1930s and then moved to Los Angeles. He studied with James Patrick, Phil Paradise and Lawrence Murphy and began producing watercolors of local landscapes and cityscapes.   (Read More)
