About Atsushi Kikuchi

Atsushi Kikuchi (active in 1940s) Born: Seattle, WA; Studied: California College of Arts and Crafts (Oakland). Atsushi Kikuchi was born just after the turn of the century and spent his childhood in Japan. After moving to the San Francisco area, he received a scholarship to study art and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an art career. During World War II, he was confined in Japanese internment camps for a period of time and then was inducted into the United States Army. After the war, he moved to Chicago. Kikuchi produced watercolors before and after the war.   (Read More)
