Mabel Hutchinson

Mabel Hutchinson (1903-1999) Born: Blackfoot, ID; Studied: University of Utah (Logan); Member: California Water Color Society. Mabel Hutchinson moved to Riverside in 1927 and took watercolor painting instruction from Rex Brandt during the 1930’s. She exhibited her works with the California water Color Society from 1939 to 1959. Most of her paintings were representational views of farm areas around Riverside and beach scenes in Orange County. After the 1940’s, she lived in South Orange County and concentrated on sculpture and wood crafts.
