Herb Ryman

Herbert Ryman (1910 - 1989) Herbert Ryman moved to California in 1932, settling in Hollywood where he spent 50 years as an artist in the movie industry. From 1938 to 1941, he was an instructor at the Chouinard Art Institute, and during World War II he produced indoctrination films for the U.S. government. He also illustrated "The Black Rose" by Thomas Costain.
